200 grammes of acetic anhydrite and 100 gramme (0.347 Pier.) 99 % of Morphinum heat up at 100 C ° in flow of 8 hours. Then distil off in vacuo excess of an anhydrase and acetic acid. The residual cools and pours out at good agitating in 500 ml. Waters and 0.5 kg of ice. The admixture temperature should not exceed 3 – 5 C °.
To solution of an acetate of heroin at agitating (Temperature 0-5 With °) flow 292 ml. 10 % of solution of ammonia before full sedimentation of heroin which drops out in the form of rozovato-yellow lumps. Heroin triturate in a powder and pump out, then flush water (350 ml.) also dry. Receive 120 gramme of heroin, which 2 times from 850 gramme of absolute alcohol with activated carbon. Receive 96 gramme of heroin of square T = 171-172 C °.
From alcoholic solutions follow-up excrete 14грамм pure heroin. After steaming out of alcohol the residual acetylates again on above described mean. A yield of heroin of 95.5 % on Morphinum.

Almost in all regions of the world, heroin synthesis begins with extraction of morphine from opium. Heroin synthesis is simple: reaction of acetylation by means of an acetic acid anhydrase.
In Poland, Ukraine, Russia and series of the CIS countries acetylated opium is effected from poppy straw.
In southwest Asia, heroin most often represents a free unpurified basis which in other countries subject to extensive procedures of purification.
Acetic anhydride – the most usual ashing reagent used in manufacturing of heroin. However, in rare instances, experts interfere with with utilisation of two other ashing reagents: aцетил Sodium chloridum (acetyl chloride) and diacetate ethylidene diacetate.
Besides, under available data, in southwest Asia, “ice” acetic acid was used for morphine acetylation.
Widely accepted assessment of a full process of manufacture of heroin the following: from 10 kg of opium it is effected approximately less than kg of a basis of morphine from which are in turn effected less than kg of a basis of heroin.
