With many marijuana strains, the blossoming stage lasts about eight to twelve weeks. Nearly all THC ( the first cannabinoid that causes marijuana intoxication ) is produced in the ripening stage. Total time from germinating to crop is about four months. This is often shortened to three months or less by employing 2 growing areas, one for the 1st stages of life and another expressly for flowering. At the end of flowering, marijuana plants are cropped then permitted to air dry.
